meet molly

i am a survivor of domestic abuse. my day of freedom was 9/03/2009. that was the day i took my life back and left with two totes of pictures and my two beautiful children, isabelle and teddy. at 34, i was starting over.

my new life began at my parents’ house. i grew up in this house and it’s very small. it was during this phase of my journey that i began wearing the perfume amazing grace. i had the perfume and bath and shower gel. when i’d get a small moment to myself, i’d take a bath and read the inspirational message. i was in the beginning of a long journey. i had moved back into my childhood home with only three bedrooms. i shared a bed with my mom so my children could have their own room. during moments of inner turmoil and when things got crowded, i practiced the act of grace.

six years later, i still think about practicing grace when i wear my perfume. i am a survivor, i am a mother, and i am a philosophy girl. thank you for letting me share my story.
