1. orders; maximum quantities
placement of an order does not constitute acceptance by philosophy inc. (“philosophy”, “us” or “we”); we may require additional information and all orders are subject to product availability. we do not authorize the purchase of our products for resale purposes. we reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors or that may otherwise appear fraudulent. to enforce this policy, we may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel orders and/or quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.
there is a maximum quantity of 5 of any one item number per customer, per order. this restriction may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. in the event we make a change to or cancel an order we will attempt to notify you by contacting the email address and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made. if we are unable to reach you, we may choose to remove an unavailable item(s) from your order based upon availability or cancel the entire order.

2. order processing & tracking
it is our goal to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. standard orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours from the time of purchase. orders placed on saturdays, sundays and holidays will be processed the following business day. please allow 5-10 business days for standard shipping.
to track an order already placed, simply call philosophy customer care at 1.800.568.3151, monday through friday, 6 a.m.-5 p.m. (arizona time) and we would be happy to track your package for you.

while we hope that you are always satisfied with your philosophy purchase, we understand that you may need to return a product. if for any reason you need to return your product, please review the information below based on where your product was purchased:
- philosophy.com, 800 number, philosophy store: we will gladly accept gently-used returns originally purchased at philosophy stores, philosophy.com or through our 800 phone number up to 60 days after purchase. you will be refunded for the amount of your return, less shipping and handling. to qualify for a full refund of purchased product(s), your return must include any gifts with purchase. please refer to the back of your packing slip for further detailed instructions. if you do not have your packing slip, please contact customer care at 1.800.568.3151, monday through friday, 6 a.m.-5 p.m. (arizona time) for a return authorization code. please include a note inside the box with your name, address, phone number and return authorization code, along with the product that you are returning. if the returned product is received within 60 days, we will credit your account for the price of the returned items. please allow 2-4 weeks to process the return. we are not responsible for lost shipments. philosophy charity products are non-refundable. all shipping costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer.
- a philosophy retailer partner, qvc: philosophy values its relationship with its retailers and strives to create policies that are mutually beneficial. therefore, all items purchased through our retailers must be returned to the retailer from which the product was purchased in accordance with their return policies.
5. e-gift cards
philosophy e-gift cards ("e-gift cards") may be used only to purchase eligible merchandise at philosophy.com. at this time, e-gift cards cannot be redeemed via telephone, or at any philosophy store or retail partner. when you make a purchase, the balance is deducted from the e-gift card. any unused balance will remain in the e-gift card account until redeemed except to the extent required by law. if an order exceeds the remaining amount of the e-gift card, you will need to provide a secondary method of payment (such as a valid credit card number) to pay for the remaining balance. the total remaining amount of your e-gift card will be applied first before any secondary form of payment. to view e-gift card balances, visit philosophy.com and click on the e-gift card balance page.
nonrefundable; not for resale
philosophy e-gift cards are not refundable for cash except to the extent required by law. e-gift cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or used to purchase another gift card, except to the extent required by law.
no expiration or fees
e-gift cards do not have any expiration date. there are no fees or charges associated with the purchase or ownership of e-gift cards. purchases paid for with e-gift cards will be subject to applicable sales tax.
if you need assistance with any aspect of your purchase, ownership, or use of an e-gift card, please contact philosophy's customer support. if the date on which you want an e-gift card delivered has passed and you have not received confirmation that the e-gift card was sent, please contact philosophy's customer support. philosophy will not be responsible for e-gift cards that are undeliverable or not received due to failure to enter an accurate email address for the recipient, or due to technical failures or any other factor beyond philosophy's reasonable control. please check to make sure the email address of the recipient is correct and contact philosophy's customer support if you suspect the recipient did not receive his/her e-gift card. should an email be returned to us due to inaccurate delivery information for the recipient, we will attempt to contact you for a valid email address.
no affiliation with philosophy
use of philosophy's name, logo, trade dress (including any image/likeness of the cards) or trademarks (or those of any of its affiliates) in connection with the purchase or use of e-gift cards is strictly prohibited. furthermore, the use of e-gift cards in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product or service is endorsed or sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, philosophy or any of its affiliates is strictly prohibited.
risk of loss
the risk of loss and title for e-gift cards passes to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the purchaser, recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. philosophy is not responsible if any e-gift card that is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
philosophy reserves the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained e-gift card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases.
other applicable policies
philosophy and its affiliates make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to e-gift cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. in the event an e-gift card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, shall be the replacement of such e-gift card. certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. if these laws apply to you, some or all of the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you might have additional rights.
6. replenishment terms and conditions
what is auto-delivery?
philosophy’s auto-delivery program offers the convenience of having your favorite products shipped to you automatically on a schedule you choose, so that you never run out of your favorite product. shipping is always free on all auto-delivery programs after the initial order!
getting started is easy. if a product has a frequency option, it’s available for auto-delivery. just select desired size , quantity and delivery frequency that is right for you, and add to your shopping bag to ensure you never run out of your favorite product. you may modify or cancel your auto-delivery program by updating your account information on philosophy.com or by calling our customer service at 1-800- 568-3151. modifications or cancellations can be made at any time, provided your order is not already in process.
how flexible is auto-delivery?
once you place your order, the product(s) you’ve set for auto- delivery will ship to you at the frequency you’ve chosen. we make it easy to manage your account settings online. you can change your next delivery date, change your delivery frequency, update your delivery address or cancel your auto- delivery program at any time prior to shipment by updating you account information or by calling our customer service at 1-800-568-3151.

from time to time, philosophy may offer certain promotions and discounts for purchases on philosophy.com. your first order on philosophy.com that contains a replenishment item(s) may be eligible for promotions and discounts, however future deliveries of “replenishment orders” are not. discounts and promotions may be subject to additional terms and restrictions.
any pricing changes will be communicated in advance of your shipments with an ability to opt-out of the program.
payment for replenishment orders
we use the credit card on file for each replenishment program to process each of your deliveries. you may modify your payment options when you log in to your account. philosophy reserves the right to cancel your shipment and/or your replenishment program if your credit card on file is declined for any reason.
we accept the following methods of payment for replenishment programs: Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. at this time we are unable to accept PayPal as payment for the replenishment program.
discontinued and delayed items
we reserve the right to cancel a replenishment order and program should an item be discontinued. you will be notified in advance if this occurs. should an item contained in a replenishment program be temporarily out of stock at time of shipment, the order will be held until the item comes back in stock and will them be shipped. all future orders will be adjusted to reflect the selected frequency based upon the last shipment date.
7. prices; payment & taxes
the products and services displayed on philosophy.com can only be ordered and delivered within the United States and Canada. certain products may be available in select U.S. retail locations and certain foreign markets. all prices displayed on philosophy.com are quoted in U.S. dollars and are valid and effective only in the U.S.
we accept the following types of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. PayPal is accepted for all orders except replenishment orders.
philosophy.com charges sales tax on orders delivered to Arizona and Ohio.
8. order promotions & samples
in the event that philosophy determines there is excessive abuse or misuse of promotions and codes, philosophy may restrict redemption to one per client or may cancel an order.
if you have a valid registered philosophy.com account and place their order online while signed in to your account, you may have the ability to choose up to two free samples during checkout. if placing your order via phone, our customer care team will be happy to add up to two free samples at your request to an order you place. you may also use our store locator on the site to locate your nearest retail location, where you can sample a wide selection of philosophy products.
