Rated 3 out of 5 by where did the Chaparral go? Why is this ingredient no longer in this product? How disappointing. When did this change? I loved this product and now not so much. Now there is nothing to combat the Soy ingredient which encourages hair growth. Will have to find a different product. May 13, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a match for my skin- irritation/breakout After reading really good reviews of this product, I was saddened it wasn't a match for me. It made my skin splotchy and caused me to break out. I took a break from using it, hoping it was a hormonal issue ( I recently had a baby), but my skin cleared after I stopped using it. And when I tried to use it again, I had the same issue. I don't have the same reaction with other philosophy products, so I think it's something with this product in particular. I would recommend getting a trial size to see if this works for your skin before committing to adding it to your routine. March 13, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Changes ruined a great product I have used this for years and I loved it. I have seriously acne-prone skin, but this product did not cause me to break out, and I relied on it to minimize facial hair growth. To my dismay, the formula has been changed. The ingredient chaparral, which minimizes hair growth, has been removed. In addition, the new formula now causes me to break out badly. I am disappointed and can only hope Philosophy will bring back the original formula without any changes. January 30, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by New formula NOT for sensitive skin I'd used the original serum since 2004, and loved it (had the 4oz on auto-delivery from QVC for years). I'm 45 and have ultra-sensitive-rosacea skin and always had a difficult time finding products that didn't cause my skin to flare up. When I found this in 2004, I was thrilled, and loyal ever since; until now. I don't know what changed in the formula to irritate my skin, but it does. I've spent the last four months going back/forth with the new formula, and every time I use it, my skin flares up. I'm SO completely disappointed, because now I'm back to looking for an anti-aging serum that will work for me. If you have really sensitive skin, be cautious. March 11, 2014
