Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent 3-6-9 Oil is the first thing to touch my skin after cleansing. However, I have learned not to buy ahead because it does have a shelf life so I only order direct from Philosophy. A store's stock is not always fresh and the oil will thicken, turn yellowish and lose its wonderful scent. September 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by remarkable versatile product long before facial oils became trendy philosophy brought us this omega 3-6-9 replenishing oil. I think it is one of philosophy's crown jewels. I had received a sample of it with a philosophy purchase and after trying it I had to have it. it became an essential for me during the cold winter months when my skin always feels parched and thirsty, and it became a life saver one summer when I got a bad sunburn and used it not only on my face but my body also. I haven't been without this oil in my philosophy arsenal since I tried it. it really is a multi-tasking product. you can use it alone on clean dry skin, or apply it under other skin care products. my favorite way is to add a couple of drops of it to my moisturizer. this oil makes a huge difference when my skin is feeling thirsty. it really bumps up the hydration level of your skin, and as an added bonus makes your skin feel buttery soft. I also like to add this to my body lotion when my skin is feeling very dry. I just put some cream in the palm of my hand add a few drops of this oil and apply it. it has a very light herbal scent that doesn't interfere with my scented lotions and creams. I even use this oil with my grace body lotions. i'm not exaggerating when I say you only need a few drops. you'll be amazed at how much difference those few drops make. I also like to add a drop or two of this to my hand cream at night before I go to sleep, it works wonders on my hands. it is a dense oil, yet it feels remarkably lightweight on your skin and it absorbs instantly. it won't make your skin look greasy or shiny, but it will give you dewy glowing skin. I think this omega 3-6-9 replenishing oil is one of philosophy's signature products and it is a complete game changer. once you use it you'll realize how beneficial and effective it is. Rated 4 out of 5 by So Happy its back! Thank u, philosophy for not discontinuing 3-6-9. ran out and tried to reorder. but it was out-of-stock. rumor has it that it was being discontinued. *relief* not true. have acne prone + combination skin. hard to find anti-aging treatments w/ out clogging pores = acne breakouts. 3-6-9 is a light and absorbing oil. does not feel heavy or greasy. plus, it smells nice. use 3-6-9 w/ help me retinol at night. use as anti-aging prevention. my face looks healthy hydrated in the morning. thank u philosophy reviewers. you helped me a great deal. Rated 3 out of 5 by great for cuticles i tried using this on my face before putting on hope in a jar but didn't see any difference. after setting it aside for awhile i tried it as a cuticle oil with great results- it moisturized my dry cuticles without leaving my fingertips greasy.
