6 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 4 tsp. ground ginger, 4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 sticks butter-softened, 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. dark molasses, 1 tbsp. water. whisk together dry ingredients, set aside. beat butter and sugar on medium speed until fluffy. beat in eggs, molasses and water until combined. beat half of flour mixture into molasses mixture until well blended. stir in remaining flour and knead until well blended. wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. roll out dough into house shapes. bake at 350 degrees until edges begin to darken, 11-15 min. for large pieces, 6-8 min. for small pieces.

apply to wet body or scalp. lather, rinse, repeat. if using as a bubble bath, drizzle a generous amount under running water and enjoy.
