Mine arrived in 100 degree weather so it had liquified to look like kale water and that took me aback a bit. Not something I think of for a creamy face wash. But after it cooled down I tried it and the smell + feel were refreshing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very toning I liked this cleanser! It did not irritate my skin at all. After using it, my skin felt a bit tight, as if I had just applied a toner. I didn’t mind this at all, but I know some may or may not like this. Only reason I gave it 4/5 is because I was not able to exclusively use this cleanser because I have acne prone skin. I now use this cleanser in the morning and one with salicylic acid at night.

I cannot comment on its smell (unfortunately, i cannot smell anything, anosmia) The cleanser is thick and feels really smooth. I typically use it at my bedtime. I take a coin sized amount, add a few drops of water to it and apply it all over my face. I massage the product for a few minutes and rinse it clean. My skin feels super soft and clean after. It doesn’t dry my skin out but i prefer applying a light water based moisturizer after (Neutrogena) I have also used this cleanser to take makeup off. I usually have trouble getting rid of eyeliner and mascara residue in one go but this cleanser took care of it all and as i mentioned, it doesn’t leave my face feeling dry. Wish i could comment on its smell, lol. All in all, i am definitely going to continue using Philosophy’s purity cleanser, it has made its place in my night time routine! ❤️

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade to the original formula I have been using Purity Made Simple Cleanser for 10 years. This new formula is an amazing upgrade! The cleanser suds up, smells amazing, is super gentle and removes even my most stubborn liquid liner. This formula left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. Absolutely love this twist on the classic!
