it is our goal to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. standard orders are typically processed within 24-48 hours from the time of purchase. orders placed on fridays, saturdays, sundays and holidays will be processed the following business day. please refer to our shipping policy page for more information.

once an order has been submitted online and is in process we are unable to make any changes or cancel the order.

at this time, philosophy only accepts payments from paypal and credit / debit cards issued from within the united states, in u.s. dollars, with a u.s. billing and shipping address.

all products that are received damaged must be returned to receive a refund or replacement. if the item in question is part of a kit or bundle, the entire kit must be returned before a refund or replacement can be issued. please see our return policy for additional details.

philosophy is fully committed to using alternatives to animal testing to ensure the safety of our products. please be assured that we do not perform, nor do we ever commission any third parties on our behalf to perform, animal testing on our products or ingredients except when required by law.

we have been proactively formulating our products without butyl parabens for several years. only a handful of our original products still contain paraben-based preservatives. we are actively seeking non-paraben, effective alternatives for these products.
