Who is eligible to join philosophers rewards?

anyone over the age of 18 who lives in the United States can join the program.

How do I join philosophers rewards?

if you already have an account on, you can sign in to your existing account here, fill out the remaining information (zip code and birthday) and join the loyalty program by selecting the checkbox at the bottom of the screen.
if you do not already have an account with, don't worry!
you can fill out the relevant information here and join the loyalty program by selecting the checkbox at the bottom of the screen. you can also enroll in person at our philosophy-owned store or by calling our customer service at 1-800-568-3151.


What information do I need to create my philosophers rewards profile?

in order to create your philosophers rewards account, you will need to provide the following information: first name, last name, email address, password (minimum 5 characters), zip code, birth day and month (year is optional).


Does creating a account automatically enroll me in the loyalty program?

no, you will need to enroll yourself in the philosophers rewards loyalty program. you can do so here. be sure to check the box at the bottom of the form to complete enrollment.
if you made a purchase without signing up for the loyalty program- no problem! you can still receive points for your purchase if you sign up within 3 days of the purchase date.


Does opting in for marketing emails entitle me to a loyalty account?

opting into marketing emails will earn you extra points in the loyalty program, but you still need to register here and select the checkbox to join the loyalty program.




Where can I find my redeemable points?

points and level status can be found in your account section of you can always view your entire philosophers rewards dashboard by navigating to "my philosophers rewards" on the left navigation under the "your account" section.


How do I redeem my points for rewards & experiences?

points can be redeemed on in your account. we offer various types of rewards that can be found in the reward shop of your account section. rewards are constantly being updated, so be sure to check back often!


When will I receive my points?

when you complete a non-purchase activity (except refer a friend and write a product review), you will earn points right away. these points will be reflected in your total points balance on your account overview page. when you refer a friend, you will receive points when the person/people you referred completes registration for the loyalty program. when you write a review, you will receive points if the review is published to the site.
when you make a purchase online, your points will enter into a "pending" state in the purchase history section of your loyalty dashboard. once your order ships, the status of your points will change to an "awarded" status. purchases made in store will receive points within 24-48 hours. if you do not receive your points in a timely manner, please call customer service at 1-800-568-3151.
note that points will be deducted from your account for any returned item at the same amount for which you purchased the points. as an example, if you returned a $20 item for which you had previously earned 300 points for, upon the return of this item, these 300 points will be deducted from your gratitude points.


Can my points be used as currency/tender?

no, loyalty points do not have cash value and are non-transferable.


What happens to my points if I return something?

points awarded to a purchase or product that has been returned will result in points being reversed for that purchase.


Can I return a reward I redeemed?

rewards are non-returnable, non-refundable and hold no cash value.


Can I use my points in combination with promo codes?

please check official disclaimers for each promotion.


Can I redeem multiple rewards in the same transaction?

yes, some promotions can be redeemed together. please check the official promotion disclaimers.


How will I receive my reward?

rewards will be delivered based on the type of the reward. we offer a variety of rewards that can be redeemed onsite, in philosophy-owned store or shipped separately or as part of your order. you may need to make a purchase to redeem certain rewards. you can view all of your rewards activity in the redemption history section of your dashboard. if you redeemed points but didn't make a purchase during your visit, be sure to click on the link from the rewards history to add the reward to your order. participation is subject to the terms & conditions here.


How many points do I earn per dollar on and philosophy-owned store purchases?

optimistic members will earn 15 points and members in the higher tiers will earn more points per $1 spent. confident members will earn 1.25/25% faster for every $1 spent on products, resulting in 18.75 points per dollar, and empowered members will earn 1.5/50% faster for every $1 spent, resulting in 22.50 points per $1 spent on products.


I've made a purchase before joining the rewards program. Can I still earn points for my previous transaction(s)?

yes! as long as you sign up within 3 days of making your purchase you will receive points for that purchase.


Can I earn points for purchasing philosophy products at retail locations (such as Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, Instagram Shopping) or QVC?

unfortunately, not at this time.




How do I reach a new tier?

in order to reach a new tier, you need to accumulate the appropriate number of points in a given calendar year. upon enrollment, all members will fall into the "optimistic" tier. the point values of each tier are:

Optimistic: 0 - 3,999 points in a calendar year

Confident: 4,000 - 7,999 points in a calendar year

Empowered: 8,000+ points in a calendar year


Does my tier status expire?

your tier status is valid for the remainder of the year in which you reached the tier and the following calendar year. you will need to maintain your points status to remain in the tier after that date. otherwise, you will drop to the respective tier for the points you earned in that year.


When will my points and/or member level reset?

points will expire on a rolling 12 month basis. your points will not expire as long as you make a purchase every 12 months. tiers will reset each calendar year. you have until December 31st of each year to hit the next tier. if you reach the next tier sooner than December 31st, you will earn the higher tier's status for the remainder of that calendar year and for the entire calendar year that follows.

each year, members must accrue enough points to remain in their current tier. if you do not maintain your points, you will drop down to the tier equivalent to the points accrued for the year.




How do I update my philosophers rewards account information?

you can update your account information within your account section after logging in. navigate to the "profile" page of your account and update your preferences there.


How do I update my profile picture?

your loyalty profile picture will be updated once you connect with us on facebook.


How do I deactivate my philosopher rewards account?

please contact customer service at 1-800-568-3151 to deactivate your account.
