agave - the agave family usually thrives in semi-arid regions and is used in food and as part of traditional medicine and it has been shown to have anti-oxidant properties. our agave is an exclusive agave cryoextract - the cryoextraction process freezes the plant and extracts the active components from the frozen fresh plant. this limits oxidation and preserves all of the most fragile components of the plant, including enzymes, vitamins and polyphenols.
